NEDUM’S NEW PERSPECTIVE…

IT WAS former Liverpool manager Bill Shankly who famously said: “Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it’s much more serious than that!”
It is a quote that has been repeated again and again by those who love the game, but for Nedum Onuoha,a tragic incident this summer put football firmly into perspective.
Back in June, the 24-storey Grenfell Tower block – situated less than a mile from Loftus Road – caught fire and claimed the lives of at least 66 people.
