JOE Ledley had several offers from across the Championship, but insists the passion of manager Gary Rowett convinced him to choose Derby.
The 30-year-old midfielder put pen to paper this week on a short-term deal after leaving Crystal Palace over the summer.
Former club Cardiff were reportedly keen, as well as sides from across the world in Spain, Israel, China and Turkey.
But Ledley had no hesitation after meeting with Rowett, who is embarking on his first full season with the Rams.
