JASON Demetriou is willing to do whatever it takes to help turn Southend’s season around after lining up in an unconventional left-back role.
The 29-year-old has switched from right to left this month and has produced a couple of steady displays for Southend – who won just one of their first seven and entered the weekend 19th in the league.
“My left foot isn’t that good but I can use it if I need to and I feel fine playing there,” he said.
