CALLUM’S ALREADY CAUGHT THE EYE

CALLUM Connolly has been an Ipswich player for just ten days, but manager Mick McCarthy says he already stands out from the crowd.
The 19-year-old defender, comfortable at full-back or centre-half, moved to Suffolk on loan from Premier League heavyweights Everton.
It is his third spell in the division following previous stints at Barnsley and Wigan.
Ipswich made a rapid start to the new season but still conceded six goals in their first five games.
McCarthy, though, is confident the teenager can make an immediate impact.
