BLACKBURN boss Tony Mowbray is confident that an international call-up will not hamper the fitness of recently-returned midfielder Corry Evans.
A long-standing groin problem restricted Evans to just 19 games for Rovers last season, but he has started the first three matches this year.
His reward was a call-up to the Northern Ireland squad for their upcoming matches against San Marino and Czech Republic.
Evans’ workload is on Mowbray’s mind, but the Blackburn manager believes the 27-year-old is in capable hands under Michael O’Neill.
