MICK HAS AIM FOR LIONS TO PUSH ON

TRISTAN Nydam and Flynn Downes have both received inaugural call-ups to England’s under-19 squad – and Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy has urged the duo to use that experience to progress at Portman Road.
Midfield pair Nydam, 17, and Downes, 18, will be part of Paul Simpson’s England squad for matches against Poland and Germany.
Both youngsters made their first-team debuts this season with Downes now a regular fixture in the Championship, while Harare-born Nydam, who can also play in defence, got his first league start in a win over Barnsley.
