STAM: WE REQUIRE TIME TO HIT FORM

JAAP Stam insists Reading’s summer recruitment will pay off but admits it will take time for things to come together for the Royals.
Stam has brought in a number of new players over the off-season including midfielder Leandro Bacuna, 26, and winger Modou Barrow, 24.
However, injuries have hit the side early in the campaign, with losses away to both QPR and Preston already.
But Stam is confident it’s only a matter of time before the new players find their feet.
