DERBY new boy Tom Lawrence has thanked Ipswich for helping develop his career after moving to Pride Park from Leicester City.
The Welsh midfielder enjoyed a fine season on loan at the Tractor Boys before signing for the Rams for an initial fee of £5m this week.
The 23-year-old, who also had loan spells at Cardiff and Blackburn, admits he will look back fondly on his time at Portman Road, having scored nine league goals in 34 appearances.
