SHREWSBURY Town boss Paul Hurst has added to his attacking options by signing Stefan Payne from Barnsley.
The 26-year-old has joined from the Tykes on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee. Payne had a loan spell with the Shrews last term and is eager to make a big impact having signed permanently.
“Coming on in the Championship is all well and good, but I want to be playing week in week out,” he said. “I want to score as many goals as I can.”
