ELLIOTT Johnson faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a serious knee injury, says Barnet manager Rossi Eames.
The full-back, 23, was forced off in the opening minutes of last week’s win over Luton and will now be out of action for an extended period.
Eames acknowledes he will be a big loss.
He said: “Elliott will be a long-term absentee. He has had a really good start to the season and it’s a real shame to lose him.
“He’s a fantastic pro, a fantastic person and we will miss him. We will help him throughout the recovery process.”
