NEW DEAL DAVIES IS SO UPBEAT

BEN DAVIES is looking to make his mark at Preston after his latest successful loan spell.
The 21-year-old central defender spent the second half of last term with Fleetwood, helping them into the League One play-offs, and has now signed a new three-year contract at Deepdale.
“The end of last season was the best loan spell I’ve had,” said Davies, who has previously been on loan at four other clubs.
