STAR MAN GARRY THOMPSON Morecambe
SUMMER signing Garry Thompson scored two second half goals to give Morecambe an opening day victory over Cheltenham Town.
Thompson, back at Morecambe after nine years away, was the Shrimps’ hero with a 90th-minute winner to earn the points and delight boss Jim Bentley.
