RON Atkinson believes Coventry City’s support will provide the edge for them this season, and that finally the hapless West Midlands club can start heading in the right direction.
The 78-year-old, who was at the helm of Manchester United before Sir Alex Ferguson joined in 1986, knows Sky Blues’ new manager Mark Robins from his days at Old Trafford when Robins was part of the Red Devils’ academy.
And the ex-Coventry boss has faith that Robins’ qualities can reverse City’s downward slide.
