Owners need to ponder their future
EVERY club has an owner – and it’s fair to say some are more popular than others. Or, to put it another way, some are more unpopular than others. It makes you ask the question sometimes as to why people decide to take over clubs.
Perhaps it’s for financial gain, though that is rarely the end result, maybe it’s for prestige or publicity. Perhaps in some cases there is a feeling of wanting to give back to the community you’re from.
