DARYL Horgan is refusing to get carried away after being named in the Republic of Ireland’s 39-man squad alongside Preston team-mates Aiden McGeady and Andy Boyle.
The 24-year-old winger admitted he was thrilled that national boss Martin O’Neill and assistant Roy Keane had been regular visitors at Deepdale this season.
“It’s brilliant to know they are keeping an eye. With the Irish contingent here they really have to, there are so many!” he said.
