Arthur Read has insisted it wasn’t a tough decision to swap Stevenage’s League Two promotion quest for a survival scrap with Colchester United.
The 23-year-old midfielder had featured in 20 matches for the second-placed Hertfordshire side this season prior to signing a two-and-a-half year contract with the U’s last week.
