DEREK Adams was full of praise for his Morecambe side after their vital derby-day victory over Accrington Stanley.
Second-half goals from Lee Angol and Ged Garner secured three much-needed points for the Shrimps, narrowing the gap on their relegation rivals and boosting their survival hopes, ending a three-game winless streak and provided a timely confidence boost.
