DANNY Cowley declared he was proud of his Colchester United players after they beat leaders Walsall at the JobServe Community Stadium.
The Saddlers had gone ahead in the 65th-minute when Charlie Lakin rifled home, but Colchester levelled four minutes later through Teddy Bishop, before Owura Edwards scored a superb 75th-minute winner.
