BURTON were struggling to stay afloat in League One long before the Nordic Football Group bought the club this summer.
And contrary to popular perception, Ben Robinson could be ruthless. The Brewers’ venerated former owner possessed patience in abundance but did not hesitate to sack Paul Peschisolido, Jake Buxton and Dino Maamria when crisis loomed.
In that sense, this week’s dismissal of Mark Robinson after a winless start to the season is nothing noteworthy.
