GILLINGHAM intend to appoint a new manager ‘as quickly as possible’ after calling time on Stephen Clemence’s short reign.
The 46-year-old took on his first EFL management role when he joined the Gills – eighth when Neil Harris was sacked in October – in November and ultimately led the Kent side to 12th place in League Two, finishing six points off a play-off berth.
