Morecambe make the journey to the Wham Stadium to play Accrington Stanley on Friday looking to pick up points to end their four-game losing streak.

Morecambe’s struggles have left them with six points from their last six League Two matches, while their opponents have earned four from a possible 18.

On average, Accrington scored 1.6 goals and the Shrimps 1.5 in those matches.

Their last meeting was on October 3, when they played out a 1-1 draw.

With 52 goals in 39 games so far this season, Accrington are scoring at below the league average rate with 1.3 goals per game. And they are conceding at an average rate, letting in 57 goals at a rate of 1.5 per game.

Morecambe, meanwhile, are average scorers, with 1.5 goals per game. They have conceded 1.7 goals per game.

Stanley are 16th in the table after 39 games, of which they have won 14 and drawn eight, earning 50 points.

The Shrimps are three places ahead of the home side in 13th, with 15 wins and nine draws putting them on 54 points.
