Match Preview: Harrogate Town v Newport County (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Harrogate Town host Newport County on Tuesday at the EnviroVent Stadium in League Two.

In their last league match, on Saturday, Harrogate lost to Walsall 2-0 at home.

Newport also lost, 3-0 away at Milton Keynes Dons.

In the last 10 years, Harrogate and Newport have played each other on seven occasions. They won three each, and they drew once.

On average, Harrogate scored 1.4 goals and the Exiles 2.3 in those matches.

Their last meeting was on October 7, when Harrogate won 2-1 away.

With four wins and two losses over that period, Newport’s form is better – they have taken 12 points from 18, compared to Harrogate’s eight.
