Top scorer Will Evans has indicated he would be keen to sign a new deal with Newport County.
The 26-year-old has already netted 23 goals in a brilliant season for the Exiles, including scoring in their 4-2 FA Cup defeat against Manchester United at Rodney Parade last month.
Newport turned down offers for the forward last month and manager Graham Coughlan says he has held contract talks with several in his Exiles squad.
“Me and the manager have a really good relationship,” said Evans.
“It’s something we’re dealing with in-house and hopefully we can get something sorted.
