Adams exit may open door for Coleman

Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman is the hot favourite to take charge at Morecambe following the shock departure of Derek Adams.
Coleman has spent much of the last two decades managing Accy but is known to be unsettled following a public rebuke from chairman Andy Holt.
Writing on X last month, Holt slammed the “p***-poor management” that led to last season’s relegation from League One and blasted both Coleman and his assistant Jimmy Bell for demanding new deals. Both are out of contract at the end of the season.
