U’s ‘have recipe to be a success’

Matty Etherington is convinced there are brighter times ahead for League Two strugglers Colchester United – whether he’s in charge or not.
The U’s sacked boss Ben Garner after last Saturday’s 2-1 home reverse against Harrogate. It was the Essex club’s fourth league defeat in a row and left them second bottom.
Colchester called on U21s lead coach Etherington to step into the hotseat as interim boss, alongside Scott Marshall and Dave Huzzey. The former West Ham and Stoke winger couldn’t have got off to a better start at the helm as the U’s ran out 3-2 winners in an entertaining...
