WHEN Steve Evans took the Stevenage reins a year and a half ago, the club were heading in one direction – and it wasn’t up.
Out-of-sorts Boro were in a League Two relegation dogfight after Paul Tisdale’s shortlived tenure came to an end and needed someone to drag them off the floor. Step forward the vastly experienced Evans to turn the tide.
