Luke’s salute for the boss

Luke Armstrong has thanked Harrogate Town boss Simon Weaver for sticking by him during a “worrying” goal drought.
Going into yesterday’s FA Cup second round tie at his former club Hartlepool, Armstrong had netted three times in as many games for the Suplhurites.
But, prior to hitting the target in a 3-3 home draw with Carlisle and then bagging a brace during last weekend’s impressive 3-0 dismantling of Mansfield, he had scored just once in his previous 24 outings – arun stretching back to Good Friday.
