ROBBIE VACATES HOTSEAT AT DALE

AS a former pilot, Rochdale chairman Simon Gauge is used to aiming high and it was no surprise when he chose to push the ejector-seat button on Spotland manager Robbie Stockdale this week.
The ambitious ex-Monarch and Titan Airways captain will have no shortage of suitors keen to improve on four league defeats out of four to launch Dale’s League Two season.
