EXILES ATTEMPT TO KEEP ACE DOM

DOM Telford has been a revelation for Newport County this season – so it’s no surprise the Exiles are desperate to keep him.
The 25-year-old former Bury and Plymouth forward has hit 25 league goals in 35 games to top the League Two scoring charts.
Newport were challenging for promotion for most of the season, but a slump in form means they will be lining up in the fourth tier again next term.
Whether they can keep hold of Telford, whose contract expires at the end of the season, remains to be seen.
