FLYNN IS BACKING TOMLIN…

MICHAEL Flynn is convinced Lee Tomlin will be a hit at Walsall – once the rest of the team are on the same page as the new signing.
The 33-year-old former Cardiff playmaker made his Saddlers debut as a second-half substitute in last week’s 3-1 win over Hartlepool after joining as a free agent.
Walsall manager Flynn commented: “It was nice to see Lee Tomlin get on, you could see the quality he possesses with some of the things he was doing.
“We’ve got to get the players on his wavelength and it will be a successful signing.”
