ACE MATTY STRIKES TO DOWN DALE

RUNAWAY leaders Forest Green stretched their unbeaten league run to 18 games, but they were made to work hard by visiting Rochdale before coming out on top.
Jimmy Ball gave Dale a shock lead in the opening stages of the second half.
However, Rovers hit back late on to continue their red-hot form. Jack Aitchison levelled on 73 minutes before prolific marksman Matty Stevens headed his 20th league goal of the season with four minutes left to seal victory.
