PORT Vale boss Darrell Clarke has described new signing Chris Hussey as “a proper professional and a proper winner”.
Defender Hussey, 33, who has made almost 500 career appearances in total, has joined Vale from Cheltenham for an undisclosed fee.
Clarke said: “I’ve always been an admirer of his work, he’s a proper professional and a proper winner.
“Chris comes in as an older experienced lad, but he’s as fit as a fiddle, trust me, he’s an absolute athlete that prides himself on his professionalism and his work.”
