VASE HERO: Nevitt on his way to a hat-trick against Binfield

TO SAY Tranmere Rovers striker Elliott Nevitt has had an unforgettable year is an understatement – and he’s hoping 2022 is going to prove just as memorable.
The forward made his first big impact in the delayed 2019-20 FA Sunday Cup final in May at St George’s Park. He notched an extra-time winner as Liverpool-based Campfield beat St Joseph’s (Luton).
A mere six days later Nevitt followed in the footsteps of Sir Geoff Hurst by scoring a hattrick at Wembley, helping Warrington Rylands beat Binfield 3-2 in the FA Vase...
