VETERAN Tranmere defender Peter Clarke says they have used their extended break from action to put in some solid work on the training ground.
Before yesterday’s FA Cup clash at Leyton Orient, Rovers hadn’t played for a week and a half due to Storm Arwen damaging their Prenton Park ground.
“We’ve used the time effectively and efficiently,” revealed the 39-yearold.
“We’ve been able to get some good work done.”
