SKIPPER KINSELLA’S SO PROUD

CAPTAINING Walsall was “a proud moment” for midfielder Liam Kinsella on his belated return from injury.
The 25-year-old made his first Saddlers start since mid-September in the midweek EFL Trophy defeat to Cambridge.
He is working his way back to full fitness after knee surgery, and said:
“It felt really good to be back on the grass.
“It’s been a difficult two to three months for me as it’s the first injury I’ve had in my career.
“It was an honour to wear the captain’s armband as well. Being named captain was a proud moment for me.”
