STAGS GET THE ‘IDEAL’ O’TOOLE

NIGEL Clough says new signing John-Joe O’Toole will be an “ideal” signing for Mansfield in their current predicament.
The Stags have endured a poor start and were sitting second from bottom heading into yesterday’s clash with Tranmere Rovers.
Clough has moved to bring in free agent midfielder O’Toole, 33, who he worked with during his time at Burton.
The Mansfield boss said: “John-Joe is a player we know well. He is competitive, aggressive and good in the air, which is something we need. It’s ideal for both us and him to join us.”
