HOWARD’S RELISHING IT ALL NOW

VETERAN goalkeeper Mark Howard admits he is enjoying his football more the older he gets.
The 35-year-old joined Carlisle on a short-term deal last week and was thrown straight in, saving a penalty on his debut against Tranmere.
He said: “I’m enjoying it even more as I get older. I don’t know whether it’s saying I find it a bit easier, I just don’t think about it as much.
“I feel as you get older you don’t take anything for granted. You know the time you have left might be short, so you go in every day with a good attitude, feeling quite fresh about it.”
