GUY DEAL DELIGHTS THE BOSS

CALLUM Guy has shown he is “exactly where he wants to be” after signing a new deal at Carlisle, according to boss Chris Beech.
The 24-year-old midfielder was the subject of transfer speculation over the summer, with Wrexham strongly linked.
But skipper Guy is now staying with the Cumbrians until at least the summer of 2023, and Beech said: “It’s hard not to be pleased when your club’s player of the year and team captain commits his long-term future to the club.
“This shows exactly where he wants to be.”
