ROVERS SNAP UP DOOHAN

TRANMERE manager Micky Mellon believes the signing of Ross Doohan will provide stiff competition for the goalkeeper position.

The 23-year-old shot-stopper has joined from Celtic on a season-long loan.
Mellon said: “Ross is a great signing and he will provide further competition. He is a talented goalkeeper and we are delighted he has joined.
“We have two fantastic goalkeepers ahead of the new season.
“I worked with him at Dundee United towards the end of last season, he has huge potential.”
