TOWNSEND AIMS HIGH AT EXILES

NICK Townsend set his sights on promotion after signing a new two-year deal at Newport.
The 26-year-old keeper has only missed three games for the Exiles this season and has kept 11 clean sheets.
Townsend said: “I’m glad to get it all done and I’m excited for the next two years ahead.
“The club have looked after me when I’ve been injured, so I feel like I need to repay them.
“I feel settled here and it’s a great club for me to progress in my career.
