THESE are indeed concerning times for Newport. Just when they looked on course for a real crack at automatic promotion, a winless run of seven has halted them in their tracks.
A show of indiscipline from their skipper Joss Labadie certainly hasn’t helped matters, either.
It’s little wonder boss Michael Flynn didn’t hold back in his criticism.
No wins since early December will start hitting confidence in the camp if Flynn is not careful.
As for Oldham, only their third home win of the season should serve as a timely fillip for them.
