DEREK Adams admitted to being thrilled after Carlos Mendes Gomes inspired his Morecambe side to a come-from-behind triumph over a spirited Grimsby.
Adams saw his side trail 1-0 at the break thanks to Mattie Pollock’s 21st-minute header, but a brace from Mendes Gomes and a late goal from Adam Phillips saw the Shrimps claim another three points and maintain their play-off spot.
