TEENAGE goalkeeper Hayden Evans is hoping to build on his dream debut after keeping a clean sheet in Salford City’s EFL Trophy victory over Morecambe on Tuesday night.
The 17-year-old was largely untroubled in the hosts’ 2-0 win and was delighted to be part of a victory on his first senior appearance, having appeared as an unused substitute in several matchday squads last season. “I thought it went really well,” he said. “I’m really happy to keep a clean sheet and obviously get a good result.
