Spot-kick hell leaves Alexander seeing red

SALFORD manager Graham Alexander could not hold back his anger after seeing his side miss two penalties in an enthralling draw at Morecambe’s Globe Arena. Spot-kick misses from Danny Lloyd, who scored both the Ammies goals, and then Richie Towell two minutes from time played a huge part in the result. Morecambe goals came from Shaun Miller and Lewis Alessandra just after the break, but Alexander was seething at the end of the game as his side had to settle for a fifth successive draw.
