McGreal’s delight as Norris seals first victory

JOHN McGREAL felt his Colchester side “thoroughly deserved” their victory over Northampton.
Luke Norris’s 66th-minute penalty, awarded after Shaun McWilliams had tripped Ben Stevenson in the area, sealed the U’s first league win of the new season.
McGreal said: “We thoroughly deserved the win. In our games of late, we haven’t been able to get the rub of the green.
“We had that today, but we earned it.
