CLOUGH’S TRIBUTE TO McCRORY

BURTON Albion boss Nigel Clough has paid tribute to “brilliant servant” Damien McCrory as his seven-year stay draws to a close.
The 29-year-old fullback has not been offered a new deal at the Pirelli Stadium, but Clough is confident his services will be sought after.
He said: “Damien has been a brilliant servant for seven seasons but, with Colin Daniel coming in and Reece Hutchinson’s emergence, that is why he moves on.
