FORMER Carlisle hero Jabo Ibehre returned to Brunton Park with Cambridge to deny his old club a vital play–off boost.
Ibehre’s second- half equaliser proved enough to earn Cambridge a well-deserved point in their battle to draw clear of the relegation zone.
In a game of numerous chances Cambridge took an early lead, lost it by half time, levelled and almost snatched the victory in added time when Adam Collin saved dramatically as Jevani Brown homed in on goal.
