WHAT a week it’s been for Steve Bruce and Sheffi eld Wednesday.
I must admit to being sceptical when he was appointed but two further wins over Swansea and Brentford have extended their unbeaten run to six games and given supporters a reason to dream of a late dash for the play-offs.
The mood at the club had reached a real low under previous manager Jos Luhukay and Bruce certainly seems to have put the smiles back on the faces at Hillsborough.
His team are looking stubborn in defence, pressing more aggressively and, up top, Steven Fletcher has rediscovered his goalscoring touch.
