COWLEY’S MEN LOOKING ASSURED

LINCOLN remain firmly in the driving seat to earn promotion after cementing pole position in the table.
Danny Cowley’s men weren’t particularly convincing in beating their neighbours, but ultimately proved to have enough quality to see out the victory and prevent the Mariners from having a single shot on target. Danny Rowe, who signed for the Imps on loan from Ipswich 48 hours earlier, proved a real menace when he came on, and he will add another string to Cowley’s bow for the remainder of the season.
