ROCHDALE midfielder Daniel Adshead faces a spell on the sidelines with ankle ligament damage.
The 17-year-old was forced off during the first half of the Checkatrade Trophy win over Fleetwood. Boss Keith Hill said: “It’s a cynical challenge and not a great one.
“Dan is going to be out for a fair length of time, which is sad to see. I’m an old-school manager and an old-school player, where that type of challenge is not acceptable.”
